History

In 2015, I founded The Living Water School , which is inspired by the Sudbury model.  The Sudbury model believes that “…all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” (from The Declaration of Independence)  With starting this school I embarked on the journey of embracing a FREEDOM mentality with how I live out my Christian faith, raising and educating my children and my overall life.   I also began to fully internalize the following Bible verses to help fuel my new way of life:

• Our Theme Verse:  So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:36)
• Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (2 Cor. 3:17)
• You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. (Galatians 5:13)
• Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. (1 Peter 2:16)

As I began to see the amazing results of having this mentality revealed in the school, my family, marriage and even my faith, a passion to create a space where others can be inspired to do the same, developed within me.
