As we head into year 11 of The Living Water School, I find myself reflecting deeply on the past decade. Looking back, I can honestly say that every single year has been a clear testimony that this school is God’s work. I can’t take credit for a single year’s success. Time and time again, I’ve witnessed the hand of God—His miracles, His provision, and His faithfulness—sustaining us in ways that only He could.
Even now, preparing for our 11th year, I continue the same prayer I’ve prayed since the very beginning:
“Lord, is it Your will for us to open again? Please confirm that You want us to move forward.”
And every year, without fail, He answers—with some kind of mind-blowing miracle that reminds me this is His school, not mine.
This is actually how The Living Water School began. When I first felt the call, I had no idea how it would come together. So I asked God, “Is it Your will for us to open? Please confirm it.” And He did. That simple, faith-filled question has shaped every year since.
Unlike many schools that operate with large budgets, prominent donors, or hundreds of paying students, The Living Water School exists for one reason: because God wills it. He is the one who sustains us. It’s humbling, and often scary, to walk by faith like this—especially when the path isn’t always clear. But for ten years, He has shown up, and He has blessed.
My faith is such that—even if one day the Lord says, “No, it is not My will for you to continue”—I will rejoice in that answer too. Because I know I’m simply a vessel, doing what He’s asked me to do for the sake of this ministry and the families we serve.
Even though he is showing signs that he wants us to open for year number 11, I never get ahead of him. So once again, I’m praying that same prayer:
“Lord, is it Your will for us to open again? Please confirm that You want us to keep moving forward.”
And once again, I wait with hope and expectation to see how He will answer.
To God be the glory—always.
