Here’s part 2 of my series, Excuses for NOT Showing Mercy. This series has been a bit intimidating for me to share because, while I’m very firm in my Biblical convictions, I’m also deeply convicted by God’s call to extend grace and mercy to everyone. It’s a challenging space to navigate. It’s disheartening to see that some people believe being a Christian means withholding mercy from certain groups of people. It’s also troubling that those who hold to strict religious laws can feel fearful of sharing their beliefs, worried about losing friendships or being labeled as hateful. Let’s all remember that every person has the inherent right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, regardless of whether we agree with them or not.
